Next.js hosting in Europe

Push your Next.js project and Faable builds it, runs it and serves it from the EU. No Dockerfile, no YAML and no server to configure.

$ git push origin main

→ Faable · build started (Next.js detected)
→ Standalone output applied
→ Live at https://your-app.faable.link

What you get with Next.js on Faable

Smaller images, automatically

Faable builds with Next.js standalone output, so a deploy is around 150 MB instead of a full node_modules that can pass 1 GB. If your config is not compatible, it falls back to the full output.

Build-time variables that behave

NEXT_PUBLIC_* values are inlined at build time and server variables are read at runtime. Set them once and they are there on the next deploy.

Monorepos included

If your app lives in apps/web, point the Root Directory at it from the dashboard or from faable.json. Turborepo and npm workspaces both work.

Connect your GitHub repo, that's it

From repository to running app in minutes. Faable handles the build, the infrastructure, and everything in between.

Next.js on Faable: common questions

Do I need a Dockerfile to host Next.js?

No. Faable detects next in your package.json, runs your build script and starts the app with next start. A Dockerfile is an option on Hobby and Pro, not a requirement.

Do I have to change my code?

Usually not. next start honors the PORT variable that Faable sets, so a standard project works as it is. Only a custom server has to read PORT itself.

Can I host a Next.js app for free?

Yes, with no credit card. The Free plan runs each app on 0.6 vCPU and 512 MB of memory, and the app sleeps after 30 minutes without requests and wakes on the next one. Hobby is 15 € a month.

Where is my app hosted?

In the EU, with GDPR compliance. Your app is served at <app>.faable.link with free SSL, and you can add your own domain on any plan.
